About TapGoNZ
A growing, local NZ business.
TapGoNZ is a New Zealand-owned NFC business focused on making it easier for businesses and their customers to connect.
We started locally in Howick, Auckland, with a simple idea: the technology to help businesses collect reviews and share Wi-Fi should be simple, affordable and professional. We're not a large corporation — we're a local team growing one community at a time, with plans to expand from Howick across Auckland and eventually New Zealand.
Every TapGoNZ product is customised for the business it serves, and we personally help with setup. We're honest about being new — and proud of building something local that genuinely helps.
Get in touchLearn About NFC
How NFC cards work for New Zealand businesses.
New to NFC? Here's a simple guide to what NFC cards are, how they help your business, and why TapGoNZ is the local choice for New Zealand businesses.
What are NFC cards?
NFC (Near Field Communication) cards are small, durable tags that share information the moment a customer taps them with their phone. There's no app to download and nothing to type — the phone reads the card and opens the review page, Wi-Fi login or link programmed onto it.
How Google Review NFC plates work
We programme your Google Review link directly onto the plate. When a happy customer taps it with their phone, they're taken straight to your review page — no searching for your business on Google first.
How NFC Wi-Fi cards work
We encode your Wi-Fi network name and password onto the card. Customers tap to connect automatically, without asking staff for the password or typing it in themselves.
Why businesses use NFC
NFC removes the friction that stops customers from leaving reviews or getting online. A single tap makes it effortless — so more customers follow through on the things that help your business grow.
How customers tap their phone
Most modern smartphones read NFC cards natively. Customers simply hold their phone near the card, a prompt appears, and the action opens instantly — no scanning, no apps, no hassle.
Why choose TapGoNZ
We're a New Zealand-owned business based in Howick, Auckland. Every card is customised for your business and we help with setup personally — no call centres, no confusion.
